Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. So we exercise faith before we ever see it. Thus, we should be able to see it in the spirit before it evens manifests in the natural.
So what is bold faith? Bold faith is the ability to stand tall, with confidence and let anyone know what we believe in without waiver or compromise. It also includes bypassing certain situations, activities, or partaking in those things that contradict our faith. Well, what does that look like in the natural? It translates to our actions every day. It doesn't matter that everyone in the room is watching TV shows that don't line up with the Spirit of God. If you and I are to stand boldly in our faith, that means we leave the room, the party, the house, the gathering that does not line up with our faith. No matter what the circumstance, if it doesn't line up with the Spirit of God, it contradicts what we believe in and stand for. It takes boldness to do this. The courage to do it in the presence of fear or rejection.
I think many lack the ability to be bold even when it's uncomfortable or if it causes the other person to reject your boldness. It's not that you are being rejected, it's the belief that you are willing to stand for that they are rejecting. It doesn't mean that you think more highly of yourself than that person, it just means that you are going places and there is no room for wavering. You are an ambassador of Jesus Christ. He wants us to be holy and acceptable unto Him..
Boldness is spread throughout the Bible.
Righteousness
Proverbs 28:1 reads The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion.
Prayer
Ephesians 6:18-20 reads 18praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints ---
19and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,20for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Testimony
Philippians 1:14 reads and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
Without wavering or compromise, we are bold as a lion, pray boldly, and testify to all those who will hear that Jesus is our Lord and Savior and that He is good. God's desire is for us to walk, talk, write, and speak boldly the truth of His Word.
Let's continue to exemplify this each and every day. We need it and the World needs our boldness!
